Glen Rock Community Clean-Up 2026

Saturday, April 18th (rain date: Sunday, April 19th)

9:30 am - 11:30 am

The Glen Rock Community Clean-Up is back for the 9th season! Our little Borough has a lot of litter around, so we need all hands-on deck. Volunteers will be scattered all over town, to pick up trash from 9:30am to 11:30am during this amazing community effort. Plastic bags will be provided.

Who: Anyone can participate! Really, this event is good for ALL AGES and you do not have to be a resident. Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Registration Required: Due to the town insurance policy, all volunteers must register with their full name and address. We are gathering information on the ages of the volunteers so we can properly assign everyone to an area to clean-up.

REGISTER your household at: https://bit.ly/2026GRCURegistration

Please fill out one form per household. The person who is completing this form must be also participating as a volunteer. Volunteers under 13 must be accompanied by an adult but we understand those under 13 may be supervised by someone not in their household (like a troop leader). Where: Your clean-up location will be sent out the day before the event. Normal areas include all the parks, train stations, fields, the PSEG Gully, and more!

Glen Rock Community Clean-Up
  • The ground may be wet or muddy the day of the Clean Up, so we recommend rain boots or work boots. But if you don't have a pair, go for an old pair of sneakers.
  • Please bring your own gloves (plus extra pairs). You can buy gardening gloves at most dollar stores (the Fair Lawn store has them) but you can also use winter gloves and simply wash them when you are done.
  • Trash Pickers (optional but nice)
  • BYO reusable water bottle filled with water...
