Municipal Courts are open via Zoom to the public. Please contact the court for the Zoom link.  Per Directive #12-20, dated April 20, 2020, anyone wishing to view the court session, needs to request permission for real-time participation or viewing.
Please note that court now begins at 3pm. 

Municipal Court sessions will now be conducted both virtually/remotely and in person. Accordingly, all complainants, defendants, attorneys, and victims are to contact the municipal court via email at to provide your full name, e-mail address, and cell phone number within seven days of receipt a court notice.

**Glen Rock and Wyckoff Municipal Courts have entered a shared services agreement.**

Payments are to be made in Glen Rock for both courts.

Court sessions will be held in each town. If you receive a summons for an in-person appearance in Wyckoff, your court appearance will be held in the Wyckoff Municipal Court located at 340 Franklin Turnpike, Wyckoff, New JerseyIf you receive a summons for an in-person appearance in Glen Rock, your court appearance will be held in the Glen Rock Municipal Court located at One Harding Plaza, Glen Rock, New Jersey.

Established under state statutes and empowered with all jurisdictions in state law and local ordinances, the Court sits twice times a month. Wyckoff sessions are held on the first and third Wednesday of each month and Glen Rock sessions are held on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month, with substitute dates for holidays.The judge is appointed by the Mayor for a three-year term and the prosecutor, public defender and court clerk, for a one-year term. Fines levied in the Municipal Court in violation of local ordinances become part of the General Revenues of the Borough. Fines levied in violation of state statutes, in general, excepting the first $10, are forwarded to the state treasury. All traffic and parking summonses can be paid via website NJMCDIRECT.COM. The court ID for Glen Rock is 0222 and the court ID for Wyckoff is 0270.

Adjournment Policy

All matters will proceed on their scheduled court date unless an adjournment request is submitted to and approved by the municipal court. If an adjournment request is received, it should not be assumed that it will be granted. No one is entitled to an adjournment as a matter of course. 

  • All attorney requests for adjournment must be made in writing at least 4 days prior to the scheduled court date. The written request must include the reason why the adjournment is needed, such as lack of discovery, attorney scheduling conflict or witness unavailability. The court reserves the right to request any proofs relative to the request (court notices from conflict courts, doctor’s note, airline reservations etc.)

  • Discovery adjournment requests must be made before the municipal court judge during a scheduled court session for any case greater than 45 days.
  • Pro se (self-represented) defendants whose case is greater than 45 days, must request an adjournment in writing at least 4 days prior to the scheduled court date. The written request must set-forth the reason and must include any supporting documentation (doctor’s note, airline reservations etc.)
  • EMERGENCY REQUESTS - Adjournment requests due to illness, accident or other unanticipated events should be substantiated. An attorney’s certification or representation (as an officer of the court) may be deemed to be satisfactory, at the discretion of the court.
  • Adjournments are not to be considered granted unless confirmed by municipal court staff.
