Municipal Court sessions will now be conducted both virtually/remotely and in person. Accordingly, all complainants, defendants, attorneys, and victims are to contact the municipal court via email at aarika.will@njcourts.gov to provide your full name, e-mail address, and cell phone number within seven days of receipt a court notice.
**Glen Rock and Wyckoff Municipal Courts have entered a shared services agreement.**
Payments are to be made in Glen Rock for both courts.
Court sessions will be held in each town. If you receive a summons for an in-person appearance in Wyckoff, your court appearance will be held in the Wyckoff Municipal Court located at 340 Franklin Turnpike, Wyckoff, New Jersey. If you receive a summons for an in-person appearance in Glen Rock, your court appearance will be held in the Glen Rock Municipal Court located at One Harding Plaza, Glen Rock, New Jersey.
Established under state statutes and empowered with all jurisdictions in state law and local ordinances, the Court sits twice times a month. Wyckoff sessions are held on the first and third Wednesday of each month and Glen Rock sessions are held on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month, with substitute dates for holidays.
The judge is appointed by the Mayor for a three-year term and the prosecutor, public defender and court clerk, for a one-year term. Fines levied in the Municipal Court in violation of local ordinances become part of the General Revenues of the Borough. Fines levied in violation of state statutes, in general, excepting the first $10, are forwarded to the state treasury.
All traffic and parking summonses can be paid via website NJMCDIRECT.COM. The court ID for Glen Rock is 0222 and the court ID for Wyckoff is 0270.
Adjournment Policy
All matters will proceed on their scheduled court date unless an adjournment request is submitted to and approved by the municipal court. If an adjournment request is received, it should not be assumed that it will be granted. No one is entitled to an adjournment as a matter of course.
