The market for electric cars is rapidly evolving.  A total of 361,000 plug-in electric vehicles (EVs) were sold in 2018, and as of August 2020 the cumulative number of EVs sold was 1.6 million.  Costs to buy these cars is rapidly falling and there are several models to choose from.
