Pilgrim Pipeline

A proposal for two parallel Pilgrim Pipelines has been put forward. The pipelines would bring unrefined, highly volatile Bakken oil derived from North Dakota fracking activities from Albany, NY to Linden, NJ and then refined oil back to Albany, NY.

Here is some more detailed information on the proposed pipelines crossing the pristine Ramapo Mountain forest, as well as the GREC recommendation to the borough council to adopt a Resolution in opposition to the pipelines.
