Rock Road Road Work To Begin August 1st

Beginning on Thursday August 1, 2024 and concluding on Thursday August 8, 2024 (weather permitting), the NJ Transit railroad crossing at the Bergen County Line on Rock Road will be closed for construction. Two police officers will be assigned to the construction detail for the first two days to assist with traffic control for the start of the project. The detour for the project will be as follows:

• Westbound traffic on Rock Road will be detoured down Maple Avenue to Glen Avenue and back to Rock Road. There will be a soft road closure on Rock Road at Maple Avenue and a hard closure on Rock Road at Harding Plaza.
• Eastbound traffic on Rock Road will be detoured down Glen Avenue to Maple Avenue and back to Rock Road. There will be a soft road closure on Rock Road at Glen Avenue and a hard closure on Rock Road at West Plaza.

Shoppers will be able to access stores on Rock Road between Glen Avenue and the railroad tracks during construction. Please allow additional travel time if you plan on driving through this area.
