Maintenance at Sanitary Pump Station Postponed to January 7th

It is necessary to routinely implement certain maintenance and cleaning work at the borough's sanitary pump station located at Cornwall Road. Herold Drive, and Prospect Street. Due to the sewerage flow rates during the day and evening, this maintenance work is best performed between the hours of 12:00 AM. and 7 A.M.  Due to unforeseen circumstances, the date for the sewer pump station cleaning has been changed to 12am to 7am on Tuesday, January 7th, 2025. 

While the majority of the work required will take place within the building, the contractor will be using a large vacuum truck parked outside the building and will have it operating throughout the job. We do not anticipate excessive noise levels but there will be external sound due to the nature of the work.

The contractor will strive to complete the work as quickly and quietly as possible. There should be no effect on the sanitary system while this process is being performed. Residents' patience and understanding are appreciated during this period of maintenance.
